activx ActivX Biosciences, Inc. is an emerging biopharmaceutical company that discovers and develops small molecule drugs for major unmet medical needs. ActivX uses its unique technology to discover novel disease mechanisms and to optimize drugs that impact these diseases.

Successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting multiple laboratory robotics platforms (Tecan) and for integrating robotics equipment, software, and LIMS components. This role will maintain and improve current applications as well as develop and set specifications for new automated processes. Successful candidate will develop processes to improve equipment performance, track and perform quality control for data generated from these platforms, and support custom (visual basic) robotic control software. In addition, this role will train end users to operate equipment and software.

Requirements:
This role requires a BS degree in Bioengineering, Engineering or a related field with 3 or more years of industry experience. Understanding of biology with an aptitude for using and troubleshooting lab robotic equipment including programming of robots. Robotics programming skills required include programming experience for Tecan or comparable robotics equipment and solid Visual Basic skills. Database interface programming experience and additional programming language knowledge a strong plus.
