The Staff Scientist/Manager will be part of the Assay Development group, providing technical expertise in the area of complex sub-uL automated liquid handling methods and high-throughput assay formulation to ensure that on-time team deliverables to new product introduction deadlines are met. Candidate will act as the Team Leader in the Chemistry Development Automation Group and be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of Automation Scientists in new product development and new technology assessment as it pertains to high-throughput genomic assay manufacturing.
Qualifications:
-BS, MS, PhD, in Chemistry, Molecular Biology or related discipline.
-Minimum of 5-10 years in product development/process automation.
-Understanding of various sub-uL liquid displacement technologies including methods development and calibration protocols.
-Expertise with liquid handling technologies similar to the Beckman FX, Biomek 2000, Packard, Tecan and other liquid handling platforms.
