96 to 384 - Challenges and Solutions

The many advantages of transitioning high throughput screening assays from 96-well to 384-well will be outlined. Some of the challenges to developing and implementing cell-based and biochemical assays for this higher density format include changes in assay parameters, liquid handling, signal detection and data management. Solutions to many of these challenges have been implemented at Millennium's HTS facility and will be discussed.
