Dear Vendors,

                                                                                                                      The SouthEast chapter of the Laboratory Robotics Interest Group will hold its annual Vendor Show on May 18, 2006 at the Sheraton Imperial in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina.

The exhibition will start at 11am and run until 3:00pm with setup starting at 8am. Booths will be 10’x 8’ and include drapes, piping, table, 2 chairs, and electricity.  We will provide standard exhibit tables.  If you need sturdier tables, you will need to make those arrangements.  Booth assignments will be made 2 weeks prior to the show and will be made available on the web site (http://www.lab-robotics.org/SouthEast/) (Please note final location is subject to change).  Booths will be assigned priority based on Food sponsors and then by payment received date (postmark on envelop).  There is a possibility that a limited number of second booths will be available. Please indicate if you would be interested in a double booth.  Booth spaces are $600 and Food Sponsorship is $600.  Vendors may signup by contacting

Shipping Equipment:

If you plan on exhibiting large (over 100 lbs.) pieces of equipment please contact Aimee Uhrig at Southern Exhibition Services 1-800-882-7469 to arrange delivery of your equipment to the hotel.

The hotel will accept boxes of convention materials not more than three (3) days prior to the convention. To ensure proper identification of materials, boxes must be labeled with the appropriate convention/group name, on-site meeting planner (LRIG_SE, Kristin Bass, May18, 2006) and meeting date(s) on the outside carton.  A $5.00 per box fee will apply to cover receipt storage and handling. This fee should be paid directly to the Sheraton. Individual boxes or crates in excess of 100 lbs. will not be accepted. Shipping, storage and handling of these items need to be arranged through a drayage company (see above).  Any boxes requiring shipping at the end of the convention can be shipped through the Sheraton Business Center providing they are packaged, labeled and made ready for shipping. The hotel or LRIG does not accept any responsibility or liability for boxes or materials left on the property.

Refund Policy:

Our cancellation policy is:

·        Cancellation prior to 30 days before the meeting, full refund.

·        Cancellation prior to two weeks before the meeting, 50% refund.

·        No refunds after that unless we have a paid vendor who wants to take your place.
