Icoria

Icoria is using automated image analysis to replace manual measurements and observations on it's plant phenotyping platform. In many instances, what had been a qualitative call can now be quantified, such as plant color or area. This capability has led to assays that were not previously possible and data mining on traits not previously quantified. In addition to replacing some existing screens, all the data on our most recent large scale project is acquired through automated image analysis. This presentation will give an overview of our platform, a look at some of the applications and results from validation experiments.
