Kevin,

HyperTask, www.hypertask.com, 508-435-0367, makes microplate freezer racks for exactly that purpose. We at TekCel, www.tekcel.com, have a mobile 1000 PlateStore unit and a fixed 2000 PlateStore unit that has on board temperature control, automated seal/unseal gastight microplate lids, and nitrogen inerted environment. CO2 is optionally available.
