Directions
to Powell-Focht Bioengineering Hall at UC San Diego:
- Take the 5 freeway and exit on Genesee. Go west (a right
turn if you are heading south on I-5, a left turn if you are heading
north on the I-5).
- Take Genesee west to North Torrey Pines Road and turn left (south).
- Take North Torrey Pines Road south and turn left into the campus at the very next light, North Point Drive.
- Continue straight and past the information kiosk.
- Continue on North Point Drive. North Point Drive will take a 90 degree right turn and change names to Hopkins Drive.
- Turn into the Hopkins parking structure, that will be on
your right at the corner of Hopkins and Voigt. There will be an
attendant at the entrance. Inform the attendant that you are attending
the LRIG Meeting and you will be issued a pass to be placed on your
dashboard). The attendant will also give you instructions on how to get
to the meeting location. Find a parking space.
- After parking, walk down Voigt to Engineers Lane (following the posted
- signs) and turn right down Engineers Lane. As you come upon
the grass area, enter into the building on the left (Powell-Focht
Bioengineering Hall, PFBH also known as EBU3).
