San Diego LRIG promotes Robotics Program at Torrey Hills ElementaryOn February 28, 2008, the LRIG San Diego Chapter presented Torrey Hills Elementary with a Lego Mindstorm NXT Robotics Engineering II Package to kick-start the school's Robotic program.The program's goal as stated by Science Teacher, Uma Krishnan, is "to introduce students in the 4th, 5th and 6th grades to Robotics by working in teams to design, build, create and program their robots to complete necessary tasks. Students will also work in teams to build models to demonstrate various science concepts like force and motion, magnetism, simple machines and energy". Vendor Information and RegistrationThe venue can accommodate 8 vendor tables. Selection is based on the first eight vendors to respond and submit their exhibition fee. Tables are reserved on a first come first serve basis.Vendors will have one 6ft long table without tablecloth or skirt and with limited access to power for your displays. Please limit your exhibits to fit on the tabletop. You may bring a tablecloth or skirt to put on the table if you wish. Exhibitor setup begins at 3:30 pm, one hour before the exhibition/social period starts. The sponsorship/exhibition fee is $250.00.
